An ICPSR Summer Program in Quantitative Methods Topical Workshop

Learn how structural equation models compare to other approaches to causal inference, and how to apply it to your research!

Goals: Course goals include providing participants with the skills necessary to apply causal inference using a structural equation modeling approach in their own research and to evaluate how the SEM approach compares with other causal inference approaches in the social sciences.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Participants will know how to apply causal inference using a structural equation modeling approach in their own research.
