The Coalition for Health Funding issues the following statement announcing a 760 organization (include APC and PAA) sign-on letter urging Congress to reject cuts to non-defense discretionary appropriations:

The Coalition for Health Funding, an alliance of 84 nonprofit organizations working to promote strong investments in the public health continuum, along with other concerned stakeholders across the funding spectrum, sent a letter today to Congressional leadership signed by 760 local, state, and national organizations calling on Congress to reject cuts to non-defense discretionary appropriations.

The American people need a robust and resilient public health infrastructure that is adequately funded to protect and promote their health. The Coalition for Health Funding, as well as its partners, urge policymakers to work together to set funding for fiscal year 2024 at a level that recognizes both rising costs and the need for investment in programs important to fostering economic growth and meeting human needs.
