Job Description
Applicants with a doctoral degree (PhD, DrPH, or comparable degree) in epidemiology, statistics, public health, demography, sociology, or related fields are invited to apply for a postdoctoral fellowship in cancer prevention. The successful candidate will join an interdisciplinary team that engages in clinical research and the mentorship of medical/graduate students. Our team has been extremely successful in securing research support for cancer prevention, having received more than $15 million in funding over the past decade.
All postdoctoral fellows at UTMB are automatically enrolled in the tuition-free postdoctoral certificate program and will have access to useful didactics, opportunities to mentor medical/graduate students if desired, and numerous career development resources.
