CVFS Webinar Series: High Impact Topics
December 15 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm ESTFree
A 2021-2022 Chitwan Valley Family Study Webinar Series event.
“Discussion of High Impact Research Topics in Global Population Research.” This webinar will feature investigators discussing high priority topics for new global population health research. Discussion will include the potential of CVFS being used to address these topics, as well as other global population health data resources. We will also discuss the potential of proposals to NIH for funding to launch new research on these topics. There will be a Q&A session after the presentation.
The webinar will be hosted using Zoom. Registration is required to attend the webinar.
The CVFS Webinar Series is a free research education program. The series uses the CVFS as an example to teach participants about the field of international population research in low-income and lower-middle-income international settings. Learn how to conduct research to 1) determine population dynamics across different populations; 2) predict the future of global population trends; and 3) test hypotheses across widely varying context and determine the limits on forces producing population change. Support provided by NICHD (R25 HD101358). https://cvfs.isr.umich.edu/webinars/
