CVFS Webinar Series: Genetic Study Design

December 1 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm EST

Free

A 2021-2022 Chitwan Valley Family Study Webinar Series event.
Colter Mitchell, Associate Research Professor, Survey Research Center, ISR, University of Michigan. “Genetic Study Design in CVFS.” This webinar will provide an overview of the design of the genetic data in CVFS, planned research activities, and potential uses. There will be a Q&A session after the presentation.

The webinar will be hosted using Zoom. Registration is required to attend the webinar.

The CVFS Webinar Series is a free research education program. The series uses the CVFS as an example to teach participants about the field of international population research in low-income and lower-middle-income international settings. Learn how to conduct research to 1) determine population dynamics across different populations; 2) predict the future of global population trends; and 3) test hypotheses across widely varying context and determine the limits on forces producing population change. Support provided by NICHD (R25 HD101358). https://cvfs.isr.umich.edu/webinars/
